Tesla has announced an enticing offer to both new and existing Model S and Model X owners, providing them with extended periods of free Supercharging at its expansive Supercharger network. This move aims to boost sales of the two models and maintain Tesla's dominance in the competitive EV market.

Six Years of Free Supercharging

For existing Model S and Model X owners, Tesla is extending an offer of six years of unlimited Supercharging. To qualify for this offer, owners must trade in their current vehicle or remove unlimited Supercharging from it and take delivery of a new Model S or Model X. This offer is valid until June 30, 2023. Still, Tesla has noted that the program could end or change without notice. Importantly, the offer does not apply to those purchasing a Model 3 or Model Y.

New Model S and Model X Buyers Get Three Years of Free Supercharging

In addition to its generous offer for existing owners, Tesla provides new Model S and Model X buyers with three years of free Supercharging. This incentive showcases Tesla's dedication to customer satisfaction and its commitment to promoting sustainable transportation by making EV ownership even more cost-effective.

Tesla recently adjusted the price of both of these vehicles and modified which steering wheel is now standard.

Tesla's Bold Incentive to Boost Sales and Maintain Market Dominance

With other automakers offering various charging deals in partnership with Chargepoint, Electrify America, and others, Tesla's aggressive free Supercharging incentive demonstrates its determination to stay ahead of the competition. The offer aims to entice current Model S and Model X owners to upgrade to newer versions of these vehicles, as their sales had experienced a slump in the last quarter.

By providing extended periods of free Supercharging, Tesla highlights the cost savings associated with EV ownership, attracting potential new buyers who may not have previously considered an electric vehicle. As the EV market continues to grow and competition intensifies, automakers must innovate and offer increasingly attractive incentives to maintain their market share. With this latest move, Tesla is again showing its commitment to staying at the forefront of the EV revolution.
