It's unlikely to be for a TV commercial; considering the long waiting list of reservations, the company is likely gathering promotional footage for the next big Tesla delivery event.
We reported on the ramp-up of Cybertruck sightings last week, and that trend continued over the weekend. X.com has videos of the post-apocalyptic truck in Tesla’s production lots and on trucks being transported to unknown destinations. We know that one destination was a crash test location.
On the security front, Tesla has been vigilant in keeping the Cybertruck out of the lenses of unauthorized cameras. New measures have been implemented at Gigafactory Texas to prevent leaks, including warnings of severe consequences for those caught taking unauthorized pictures or videos of the vehicle. Even a drone image showed a security vehicle in front of two Cybertrucks.

Elon Musk has been notably enthusiastic about the Cybertruck's progress.
