This past June, Tesla launched the TeslaVision video contest, inviting owners to create short videos that capture how Tesla adds value to their lives — through freedom, safety, fun, or convenience.
Tesla recently revealed the top 10 video entries and opened voting for users to choose their favorite. They have now contacted the winners about their submission.
Update: We’ve now been made aware that Tesla is actually going to announce that there are two grand prize winners. Aurelio’s “Honey From the Future” entry is the grand prize winner. However, Tesla is also awarding a grand prize to Arash’s entry due to strong community support and “most cumulative likes” on a video.
TeslaVision Contest
The TeslaVision contest is reminiscent of their 2017 Project Loveday contest, which also had fans creating inspiring or fun Tesla videos. The 2017 contest was eventually won by well-known YouTuber, MKBHD, with his video entry below.
For the 2025 TeslaVision contest, the grand prize winner receives a new Model Y Long Range AWD and an all-expenses-paid trip to Giga Texas in Austin, including a factory tour, hotel stay, and round-trip flights. The two runners-up also win a trip to Austin for a Giga Texas tour.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting — with Tesla’s Robotaxi network opening up, winners will likely get to experience the Robotaxi during their stay.
The Winners
After Tesla posted the finalists, Arash's entry quickly stood out, eventually earning 4,900 likes. His video highlighted FSD’s ability to keep the car on the road, even if the driver dozes off. Due to Tesla’s driver monitoring system, the vehicle alerts the driver and eventually stops the vehicle if the driver fails to pay attention.
The video provides a chilling fact, which helps users connect with the story: thousands of lives are lost each year in the U.S. due to drivers falling asleep at the wheel.
This is Arash’s winning entry:

Thank you for everything that you guys do to make the safest cars on earth. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/t7yh6t6Up5
However, there is more than one grand-prize winner. With his beautifully crafted video “Honey From the Future,” Aurelio also won the grand prize by drawing a poetic parallel between humans and honey bees. Describing them as builders, explorers, and dreamers.

Why Two Winners?
The TeslaVision contest was supposed to have one grand prize winner, who would receive a Model Y in addition to the factory tour. However, it looks like Tesla is awarding two grand prizes. This is likely due to some confusion surrounding the contest.
Tesla asked users to vote for the winner by liking the video they wanted to see win. However, each video was a quote post of the original video submitted to the contest, so it wasn’t clear whether users should like Tesla’s post containing the video or the original post. Bravo to Tesla for recognizing both entries for most likes.
Behind the Scenes
A couple of days after entering the contest, Arash released a short video showing bloopers and a behind-the-scenes look at him and his wife creating the video:
Here is a little BTS of our Tesla Vision video. My wife and I shot it together. If we win, she gets a Model Y, and it will be the perfect Mom car ❤️ Please go vote for video number 2! His Cybertruck Video
Before entering Tesla’s contest, Arash also created a funny video titled, ‘What if Life Had FSD?’, which features a Cybertruck and an “automated assistant” that helps him carry out simple tasks.

We wanted to think outside the box on this one. Rather than directly showcasing features, we allowed the story and visuals to speak for themselves. This one’s for @Tesla & @cybertruck 📐
Our goal? Make it different, fun, and unmistakably Martian.… pic.twitter.com/AhxNIFnmAk
