When we picture auto executives we don’t often picture them hosting TV shows. Especially not TV shows like Saturday Night Live. Then again, Elon Musk isn’t a typical auto executive.
Saturday Night Live and Elon Musk have both announced that he will be hosting SNL next month, on May 8th. Saturday Night Live is an American late-night TV show that airs weekly on live TV.
It will certainly be interesting to watch and is sure to bring in many casual fans tuning in just for Elon. SNL has also announced that Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest that night.
Elon has previously said that Tesla will unveil a FSD subscription in May as an alternative to the $10,000 FSD package Tesla currently offers. We wonder if he may take this opportunity to annouce it live to millions of Americans, or he possibly may even announce or leak certain details about Tesla's upcoming v11 update.
If you’ve tuned into any of Tesla’s live events, you know Elon isn’t by any means great on stage. During scripted portions it can be downright awkward to watch. Rather, Elon really shines in interviews like the one with Sandy Munro; casual and engineering-focused and they result in a great behind-the-scenes look at Elon and Tesla.
Either way, millions of fans will be tuning in on May 8th because if there’s one thing Elon always is, is authentic. You can tune in on Saturday, May 8th at 11:30PM ET on NBC.
